Welcome to the memorial page for

Jeanne Clink

January 2, 2014
Jeanne E. (Teter) Clink, 43, was born December 30, 1970, and passed away on January 2, 2014. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 24 years, Clarence Clink;  her daughter, Samantha Clink; her son, Joshua Clink and his fiancée Stephanie Lulli; her parents, Barbara and Richard Teter; her siblings, Richard Teter and wife Linda, Barbara Foelsch, Kathy Beiersdorf and husband Ronald and her lifetime best friend, Jill Doll; her mother-in-law, Theobelle Miller; brothers-in-law, Patrick King, Roger Miller, and Bill Burdick; sisters-in-law Elaine Miller, Tina King, and Angel Burdick. Jeanne graduated from  Greene Central School and received her Associates Degree from Broome Community College later in life while raising Samantha and Joshua. She loved her job and coworkers at SUNY College at Oneonta where she worked for the last eight years. When she wasn’t working she was busy enjoying the simple things in life. She loved all things Disney, going to garage sales, spending time with loved ones, a fresh iced tea and frozen treats, a warm sunny day, and the feeling of taking a full breath of air. She was a kind, compassionate, happy person who cared for everyone she encountered. During most of her adult life Jeanne fought courageously battling a rare autoimmune disease called Evans Syndrome and Pulmonary Fibrosis. On February 4, 2012 she received a life-saving double lung and heart transplant at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. She was appreciative of the medical staff and support she received while in Philadelphia and in Binghamton. Her gift of life gave her, and her family and friends nearly two more fulfilling years together. She lived like her donor was watching, and considered each day and every breath a gift.  A memorial service will be held 10:00am Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Greene with Rev. Amy Gregory officiating.
