James E. Bromley

James E. Bromley, 85, of Greene, passed away on November 7, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Marie (Burtis) Bromley; two brothers, Joseph and Richard and sister, Bette Jones. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 60 years, Nancy (Hoag); his daughter, Gair Adams (Tom); and son, Jason E. Bromley (Season Evans); his beloved grandchildren, Ben Adams (fiancée Rachel Miller), Sam Adams (Sarah Longino), John, Sophia, Olivia and Reagan Bromley; sisters-in-law, Fran Bromley and Dorothy Turrell; three nieces and a nephew. Jim had a passion for the outdoors and his community.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his membership at the Greene Rod and Gun Club, gardening, supporting local businesses in Greene, and following local sports teams (Chenango Forks Football and, of course, Greene Field Hockey).  He was especially known for his tremendous wit and love for a great joke. The family wishes to thank Dr. Steven Spivak and Cassie Wilber for their special care.
