Ellis Langdon French, 62, of Johnson City, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 16, 2019 after battling a long illness. Ellis was born November 19, 1956 in Greene. He was predeceased by his sister, Joanne French and Proctor John Brandow. He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca French; mother, Mary Brandow Buchsbaum; brother, Don (Betsy) French; brother, Michael (Kelby) Brandow; sister, Shirley Cook and many nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews. Ellis received a master's degree in counseling from Denver Seminary in 1986 and went on to be a family therapist. After some time he enjoyed writing and creating projects to help others, such as volunteering, doing service jobs and teaching children’s church most Sundays. Ellis loved nature and being outdoors either gardening or feeding birds and squirrels. He frequently went hiking, bowling, golfing and biking. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday 22, 2019 at 1:00pm at Berean Bible Church in Greene.
