Donald F. Burrows

Donald Burrows, 82, of Greene, passed on January 20, 2019. He was predeceased by two sisters, Linda and Joan and by a brother, Walter. Donald is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan; son, Daniel (Becky) and daughter, Jody (Troy); 6 grandchildren and two great grandchildren whom he loved and laughed with. He is also survived by his brother, John and sister, Janet. Don loved life, the outdoors, his family and friends as well as the many pets he had throughout life.  Now on to your biggest adventure Dad. We love you!  As per Don’s wishes there will no immediate services and a celebration of life gathering will be announced and held later this year to remember the many careers, hobbies, and friends he's had throughout his busy and full life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Front Street Animal Shelter 110 Cutler Pond Road Binghamton, NY 13905. Arrangements are by Root Funeral Home 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778 and condolences may be sent to the family at www.rootfh.com.
