Christian E. Euchenhofer

Christian E. Euchenhofer, 51, of Greene, an aircraft mechanic and avid lover of flying, land and air alike, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at home in the arms of his wife. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ernst and Gertrude Euchenhofer; his father, Karl Heinz Euchenhofer and sister, Amy Barbara Euchenhofer. Chris is survived by his grandmother, Anna Fullmer; mother, Darlene Bussa; his beloved and devoted wife, Anissa and three children, Jen (Duane), Amy, and Austin (Morgan) and his pride and joy, his twin grandsons, Anthony and Damien. Chris devoted his life to his family and friends, and he was every bit as passionate about his business, C&F Aircraft Services. Chris would do anything for anybody without a second thought to himself, including running into burning aircraft. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. If there were anything he ever did for himself, he did twice as much for his family. He was an amazing teacher and was currently teaching his grandsons football, wrestling and how to ride dirt bikes. He was planning their next scuba diving trip. He was also an avid “Trekkie”, loved researching his German heritage, new found love of soccer (go Bayern!), and all things BMW, especially his motorcycle, which he spent flying every weekend with his wife. Chris was a man who will be deeply missed by all who had the honor to know him. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Octagon Inn, 3699 Rt. 26 Glen Aubrey, NY 13777. As Chris was not the sentimental type please send no flowers.
