Hello Robert,
I was shocked and saddened to read about your mothers passing. I hope that you will take the time and mourn her passing in your own way and do what's best for you.
We all go through this at about this time in our life. My mother passed away in 2001 at 78 and my father passed away in 2014 at the age of 98. My mother clearly had serious health problems,
whereas my father had chronic heart problems.
I wish you and your family much strength and
patience to heal. Just try and take it one day at a
time. With enough time you will find it much easier
to take and to accept as well.

I offer my heartfelt condolences to the MacLaren family and friends of Barb. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. Our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) gives us hope at Revelations 21: 4 says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. May these promises from Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) bring you comfort. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 11:23-25) Again, the family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences. To the family of Barbara MacLaren: First I want to say I am very sorry for the loss of your sweet mother. My job brought me to ECM once or twice a week for work with another resident. One day as I was moving my resident to lunch I saw her name on the wall and I looked to see if it was her. I saw her and knew immediately that it was her. After that I always looked for her and would talk to her and give her a hug. At that time she was moved to the same table as my client and I would talk to her and encourage her to eat. When I told her I played with her children as a child, and named them off she smiled a big smile.
In my memory she was a sweet lady that loved God with all her heart. I will miss seeing her and giving her a hug but we all know without a doubt she is in a better place and happy in the arms of God.

William, Robert, Bruce, my sympathies at the loss of your mother. This a sad time for you all, but you should all take comfort in remembering all the happy times. I remember talking with your dad when we worked together many years ago. It was very clear clear how devoted and proud of you all that your Mom and Dad were. You were lucky to have such great parents.
