Barbara A. Brancato

Barbara A. Brancato, 62, of Greene, went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family.  She is predeceased by her parents, Roger Wales and Helen Gray. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Charles Brancato Jr.; daughters and son-in-laws, Lindsey and Benjamin Gross, Theresa and Brendon Brancato-Folster; grandchildren, Jackson and Lincoln Gross, Devyn, Ryleigh and Charleigh Brancato-Folster; siblings, Diane and Chip Talley, Alice and Jody Zakrevsky, Dawn and Joe Maiurano, Ken Wales, Steve and Laurie Wales, Larry and Judy Wales, Dwight and Diana Meade and Judi Bible; her mother in law, Helen Brancato, and in-laws Alicia and George Gelsomin, Tina and Tim Delaney, Tim Brancato and Stacie Anastasia, Mike Brancato, along with several nieces and nephews. Barbara was a homemaker who enjoyed having a day care and watched many kids in Greene. She always looked forward to the trips to her sister’s house and spending time with her family. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango Street, Greene New York 13778.
