Alexander L. Taylor

Alexander Lee Taylor, 80, of Greene, departed this life on Monday, January 13, 2020. He was predeceased by his father, Harry Taylor; mother, Mary Taylor; sister, Pat Delaney and brother-in-law, Sandy “Joe” Fama. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Janet Taylor; 2 daughters, Deb Taylor (Mike Fraser) and Diane (Bill) Murray; grandchildren, Dorie and Jake Joseph, Douglas and Michelle Grant, Sarah Grant, Rob Jones and Katie Grant; 3 great-grandchildren, Douglas, Sonora and Alexander; sister, Linda Fama; brother-in-law, James Delaney and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Alex loved the outdoors: fishing, hunting, trapping and golfing He was a charter boat captain on Lake Ontario for years. He was a member of the Local 7 Laborers Union for 50 plus years. He loved his family and his many, many dear friends. As per Alex’s wishes there will be no immediate services. A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
